Financial Aid

Many of our students use Federal Student Aid (FSA) programs — the most common form of financial aid — for tuition assistance. FSA programs are offered by the federal government to provide financial aid options that can help make your WilmU education achievable.

Federal Aid may be available in the form of:

  • Grants (that don’t have to be repaid)
  • Loans (borrowed money that must be repaid — usually with interest)
  • Work-Study (money earned through part-time employment)

>> Download our Financial Aid Guide.

If you'll need help funding your WilmU education, visit wilmu.edu/payingforschool at your earliest opportunity. On this page, you'll find budget management resources, as well as links to information about scholarships and financial aid. If you've already started the financial aid application process, be sure to complete all of the requirements necessary to be offered a financial aid package. Completing the FAFSA is only one step in the process. It may take up to six weeks after you submit your financial aid application to receive aid. So please allow plenty of time for this process. Students often have questions about financial aid, which is a critical and complex topic. So don't ever hesitate to reach out to your admission specialist for assistance.
