Military Transcripts and Credits

Wilmington University accepts credit for military training by the evaluation of transcripts from the Joint Services Transcripts and the Community College of the Air Force, as well as the following:

  • Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES).
  • Excelsior College Examinations (ECE). Formerly ACT PEP: Regents.
  • College Level Examination Program (CLEP).
  • Advanced Placement Exam (AP). Credit awarded with score of 3 or higher.
  • American Council on Education (ACE).
  • DSST exams.

General information can be found on the American Council on Education's website.

As a military student Wilmington University was very helpful to me. Also, every time I'm on the phone or speaking with a person for the first time, the first thing they respond back to me is thank you for your service, makes me feel welcomed and appreciated.

I'm a transfer student from Delaware Tech. So I was able to pick up right where I left off at Delaware Tech and continue at Wilmington University which allowed me to finish my degree early.

Biggest thing that Wilmington does help with is flexibility. As a military student, I was initially overseas when I first got into this program, most of the work is done online. So there's it's also good for adult learners who are working and it's affordable, which makes us able to continue our education
